Anamaria Marina is an Romanian actress. She won the British Academy Television Award Best actress for her role in the Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. She speaks fluently French, German English, and Romanian. Her father, a teacher of theatre at one of Romania's most prestigious theater schools, also theater teacher. The award was presented to her as the Best Female Actor of the Year 2000 Award during the young Actor Gala Mangalia. She was chosen as a European Shooting Star by the European Film Promotion Board in 2008. Youth Without Youth by Francis Ford Coppola was a different film in which she appeared. The film was released in 2008. She starred as Yasim of Angwar in the BBC Five-episode Miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca was also a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. In the movie Fury (2014) in which she was Irma, a German woman, who served as Emma's aunt.
