Between "Twilight," filming, she also shot five other projects including "Up in the Air". The film received an Oscar for her performance as George Clooney in that film. Since then, she's been involved in numerous critically and commercially film projects that have been successful, such as "Scott Pilgrim Vs. America." Anna Cook Kendrick was born in Portland, Maine on the 9th August , 1985. Her mother was an accountant while her father was a historian teacher. Anna was born to Michael who was her elder brother, an actor who later went on to become an actor. Anna Kendrick started auditioning for Broadway shows when she was a teenager in Deering High School, Portland. When she was 12, she was offered her first role in High Society. Despite the age of 12 years old her performance was acknowledged by numerous nominations. In 2003, she appeared as acting as a second-in-command in A Little Night Music. Her film debut was at Camp in the same yearat age fifteen. Kendrick received nominations for her performance and for her performance in Rocket Science 2007 at age 15.
